[Output format (Data Output)]

  1. In the "Item tab" area, tap [Output format].
  2. In the "Output setting" area, select the communication method.

    [RS-232C/RS-422]
    Communication is performed via a RS-232C/RS-422 connection.
    Ethernet
    Communication is performed via the Ethernet.
  3. In "Format setting", select the output format.

    Description
    [ASCII]
    Outputs in the ASCII format. The ASCII is represented in 7 digits, and composed of 128 Roman numbers, numeric numbers, operators, and control codes.
    Binary
    Outputs in the binary format. Outputs the Value multiply 1,000 with each digits being represented by 4 bytes.
    When the ASCII output format is selected
    When "ASCII" is specified as the output format, set up the following options among the format settings.
    Whereas "Binary" is selected, no setup is needed.

    Description
    Digits of integer
    1 to [10]
    Specify the width of the integer part including the sign. For positive numbers, the plus sign is not output.

    Setting: 4 places, data: -5,619
    output -999.
    Digits of decimal
    0 to [4]
    Specify the places of the output Digits of decimal. When 0 is selected, the Digits of decimal will be rounded up.
    Minus

    When a Minus is selected, what is displayed in the sign place.
    0 suppress
    • ON
    • [OFF]
    Select to deal with the blank place to the left side of the output data or not.
    ON: Insert 0 into the blank place.
    OFF: Insert the space sign into the blank place.
    Example)
    Digits of integer: 5 places, Digits of decimal: 3 places.
    When the data is 100.000
    ON: 00100.000
    OFF: _100.000 (denoting the space)
    Field separator
    • OFF

    • Delimiter
    Select the separator for output data.
    * The delimiter is obtained from the system.
    Record separator

    Select the separator each time data is outputted.

  4. If you have selected "Ethernet" for "Communication method", configure for Ethernet.
